FO Friday: Amigurumi Animals

I have a lot to show today! The Cow, Crocodile, and Fish I made weeks ago but since I haven't been blogging I didn't get a chance to show them. The Jellyfish and the Green Dragon I finished before Wednesday so I didn't show them as work in progress. The last three were all on my WIP Wednesday post this week and I got them all finished yesterday! I am adding a link to the project page on ravelry of each one. There you can see more pictures and all the details. Have a great weekend! :)

WIP Wednesday: Lots of Animals

I'm back! I was on vacation for a month. I went to Mexico to visit family and had a lot of fun. I was planning on continuing to blog while there but there was never enough time so I thought it was more important to enjoy myself while there and blog when I got back home. I did a lot of knitting since I was teaching a couple of my family members to knit but I have to say I really missed crocheting stuffed animals! So I got back last Monday and this past week I have been very busy. Besides unpacking and getting used to being home again, I started a few projects....

First up is Stretch the Giraffe from the book Crocheted Softies by Stacey Trock. I only have the legs, arms, and one ear done. I pretty sure it will not be done for this FO Friday but maybe next week. I used Caron Simply Soft like most of my other stuffed animals in the colors nutmeg and sunshine. This was one of my favorites when I first got the book and I can't believe I am just now working on it.
Next is Mr. Crabby. I was helping my mom organize her yarns this past weekend and lucky for me she found a couple balls of Simply Soft yarn that she really had no use for so she gave them to me. I really liked this red color so I had to use it right away!
So in my last post I said I wasn't going to start another animal because I would't be able to finish it and it would be left unfinished for a month until I got back. Well I couldn't help but start one and it was left unfinished for a month but here it is. I am so close to finishing it but I just haven't worked on it at all. Hopefully by talking about it I will get some motivation. I won't promise it to be done this week but I will finish it eventually.
One that I was really excited about was this dragon pattern Stacey released in July. If you are interested in purchasing it you can find it here. Anyway I had to wait until I got back home to start it. Which I did the very next day. I actually already finished that dragon and it will be on my FO Friday post so check it out. After finishing that one my mom said she wanted me to make her one and since she was nice enough to give me yarn I started this girly dragon for her. I used Caron Simply Soft in passion and blackberry.
Lastly is another pattern from Stacey's book Crocheted Softies. This one could either become a Microbe or a Macrobe. I haven't decided if I'm going to make the small or the big one. The name of those in the book is Mike and Mac but since this is pink I called her Anna. I'm making her using Red Heart Soft in the color pink which is left over yarn from the Jellyfish I just finished. If you are interested in seeing that one come back for FO Friday!
